Low pressure off the coast and along the West Coast is taking hold of our weather pattern, and will drive a welcome slide in temperatures from today through early next week. Skies have stayed mostly clear overnight, and we'll be sunny to mostly sunny through your Friday. There is a slight threat of thunderstorms across the northeastern corner of the state, and that's prompted another Red Flag Warning for elevated fire danger to be issued for Modoc County from 1pm through 9pm Friday.
