An impressive second half by quarterback Brennan Myer – 9-of-18 for 205 yards with two touchdowns – and a 25-yard game-winning field goal by Bryce Soli made for an historic day for the Bryant Bulldogs as they beat UMass 27-26 on Saturday for the school's first-ever victory over an FBS opponent.

The Bulldogs were trailing 20-10 at the break, having scored on a 37-yard field goal by Soli and then capping a 69-yard drive with a 9-yard TD pass from Myer to Zyheem Collick. But the Bryant offense found its rhythm in the second half after a missed UMass field goal try.
