LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - It’ll be hard to find any complaints with the weather this week as high pressure is going to keep things nice and quiet!
Some of us may prefer a light jacket as we step out the door to work and school over the next few mornings as we look to stay in the middle 60s before gradually warming.
Abundant sunshine will be the theme through the afternoons as well with temperatures slowly climbing into the upper 80s this afternoon.
More of the same can be expected for our Tuesday as well, with the cooler start as some inland communities look to make a run into the lower 60s.
Temperatures will gradually warm over the week ahead as high pressure will slowly begin to push to the east and allow a more southerly wind to develop.
