A man has been charged with manslaughter over the death of a two-year-old boy in rural New South Wales last year.
In September 2024 emergency services were called to a property at Stockinbingal, about 20 kilometres north of Cootamundra, following reports a two-year-old boy had fallen from moving farm equipment.
The boy was taken to Cootamundra Hospital, where he later died.
The 34-year-old man operating the equipment and a three-year-old boy who was on the equipment at the time were both uninjured.
Police say all persons were known to one another.
A crime scene was declared and officers from the Crash Investigation Unit began looking into the incident.
Police allege the man was driving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and towing farm equipment at the time of the crash.
