CLIFTON SPRINGS, NY — The Midlakes Aquatic Center pool renovations are complete, and the pool is back open.

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District invites the community to celebrate the reopening Sept. 9. Superintendent Nicholas Ganster will share remarks, and the varsity girls swim team will host Livonia, with action beginning at 5 p.m.

The event is the team's second home meet of the year. Just after the Labor Day holiday, the team opened its season with a win, defeating Palmyra-Macedon.

With the pool back open, community leaders are breathing easier these days.
