SPRING HILL – On September 8, 2025, at approximately 6:24 am Deputy Brandon Schroader and Deputy Lupe Becerra received a call from police dispatcher regarding a burglar alarm at the Dollar General, in Spring Hill.

Upon arrival contact was made with the Store Manager who stated when she arrived at approximately 0615 hours, she entered the store and set off the alarm when she seen that the cigarette cabinet was open and the safe had been broken into. Deputies found a hole cut into the northwest corner wall of the store. The safe doors were cut at the hinges and money taken from the safe.

One suspect was observed on CCTV footage entering the store office, breaking open the file cabinets to locate the deposit bag for the store. Less than 2,000.00 in cash, cigarettes, and other merchandise wa
