A 63-year-old cyclist has died following a collision with a pickup truck on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred shortly after 3:20 p.m. on Sept. 7, at the intersection of Wellington Street East and Kohler Street, according to police.

Emergency services responded to the scene, and the cyclist was transported to hospital. They later died from their injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 22-year-old, was not physically injured.

Members of Traffic Services were continuing to investigate the collision at time of press. Police say they are not seeking additional information at this time.
