DULUTH, Min. & LAKE ELMO, Min. – Bremmer Bank has filed paperwork with the state of Minnesota saying they plan to lay off 244 employees.

All of those employees are at the Bremer Service Center in Lake Elmo.

The filing says the layoffs are “As a result of the acquisition of Bremer with Old National Bank”.

The layoffs are expected to happen between October 24, 2025, and November 14, 2025.

FOX21 has asked Old National Bank if they expect more layoffs in Minnesota.

Positions affected in this layoff/closure are, but are not limited to:

Accountant, Accounts Payable Analyst, ACH Wire Transfer Specialist, ACH Service Specialist, AML Analyst, Assest Configuration Sr Analyst, Auditor Manager, Auditor Project Manager, Bank Secrecy Act Off
