In honor and remembrance of 9/11, nearly 3,000 American flags were placed on the lawn of Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace.
The Battalion of UTC Army Cadets individually placed 2,977 flags across the property.
This is done each year in remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
"The cadets do an amazing job each year as they come and place each flag," said a spokesperson for Lane Funeral Home.
They invite the public to stop by to show their appreciation for this act in remembering those lives lost.
