MARIETTA, Ga. — A group of teens went on a rampage at a Waffle House in Marietta over the weekend, according to Cobb County police.
According to witnesses, the tension escalated after Waffle House workers told the teens to leave shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday.
The group began arguing with staff, knocked over plates on the counter, and jumped over the serving area and into the kitchen, police said.
One worker was headlocked and punched several times as patrons tried to break up the melee.
A video of the altercation circulated on social media, alleging the group had attended Sprayberry High School’s homecoming game. However, police said that the game was played on Friday night.
Police said they have no evidence that these suspects are current or former Sprayberry High School students.
