NORFOLK, Va. — Rep. Jen Kiggans (R, VA-02) reaffirmed her strong support for the offshore wind project in Virginia's 2nd District on Monday, emphasizing its significant contributions to economic development, energy security, and national defense.

This puts the Republican Congresswoman at odds with the Trump administration, as the U.S. Department of Transportation last month announced the withdrawal of over $39 million in federal funding allocated for the Norfolk Offshore Wind Logistics Port at Fairwinds Landing.
