CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — The regular meeting of the West Virginia Board of Education scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled.

The cancellation was made due to a "scheduling conflict involving ongoing litigation," according to a release from the state Department of Education.

The board's next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 8. It will be held at 9 a.m. in Building 6, Suite 600, 1900 Kanawha Boulevard, East, Charleston.
