BLUFFTON, S.C. (WSAV) — A 19-year-old man was arrested Monday by the Bluffton Police Department (BPD) in connection to a Sept. 3 shooting that left an 18-year-old in the hospital with serious injuries.
Malik Geoffrey Winston was charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
The victim reportedly remains hospitalized after being transported by air ambulance when the incident occurred.
BPD officers discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to their upper torso while conducting a welfare check on May River Road.
