MERIDIAN, Idaho — Meridian's City Council approved a plan for Boise CO-OP to begin building a location on the corner of W. Chinden Blvd and N. Black Cat Road on Thursday, Sept. 4.
The company initially filed plans with the city in March. This would create the third grocery location in the Treasure Valley for the store. The other two locations are in Boise's North End and The Village at Meridian. They also have a wine store and a pet supply store in the North End, near the original grocery store.
Those locations receive high traffic, and the CO-OP has over 30,000 members. Members receive multiple benefits, including 20% off on the first and third Friday of every month, according to the store's website.
