SAYRE, PENNSYLVANIA (WENY) -- After a life-threatening, drunk-driving motorcycle crash last year, one man took the time on Monday, September 8th, to thank some of the people who saved his life. David Zinck said after surviving the crash, he knew he had to change.

"That particular day, I don't remember anything. I know I went to work that day, but from the accident itself, I remember absolutely nothing," said Zinck.

On September 2nd, 2024, Zinck lost control of his bike on State Route 14 in Pine Valley, went off the road, and hit a concrete barrier. He admits the crash happened because he had been drinking.

"I n the moment, he was very critical. The good thing for him was that he was awake and still with it, but not to the point where he knew what was going on," said Guthrie Air Flight
