The Philadelphia Eagles bolstered their running back room on Monday.

Following last Thursday's NFL season-opening 24-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys , the Eagles addressed their suspect depth behind All-Pro Saquon Barkley in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars .

Per ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Eagles acquired running back Tank Bigsby for 2026 fifth- and sixth-round draft picks.

Tank Bigsby elevates Philadelphia Eagles' backfield depth

Last season, Bigsby, a 2023 third-rounder, had 168 carries, 766 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns for Jacksonville.
