WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Alex Padilla of California shared his thoughts Sunday on the passing of John Burton, a prominent figure in California politics.

Burton, who served in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the California State Legislature, was also the former Chair of the California Democratic Party.
