MONTGOMERY, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — Attorney General Steve Marshall announced that the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals has affirmed the felony murder and first-degree burglary convictions of Brittany Head, 27, of Enterprise.

Head was convicted in Covington County Circuit Court on October 7, 2024, in connection with the 2020 killing of Micah Coon. Evidence at trial showed that on November 16, 2020, Head and her husband, Tyquise Jenkins, encountered Coon at a convenience store, where Jenkins was identified as the aggressor in a fight.

Afterward, Coon returned to his residence, but was followed by Head, Jenkins, and others. Coon called 911 reporting that someone was trying to break into his home. Prosecutors said that Jenkins, Head, and others forced their way inside, where Coon was shot and kil
