SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — SAISD board members addressed continued complaints about the new closed campus lunches at Lake View High School during a special meeting on Monday, Sept. 8.

Several parents and a student brought up questions about having enough time to eat and food portion sizes.

During the meeting, security escorted one man out of the room after yelling at school board members.

Administrators said more tables and chairs are on the way, as all Lake View High School students are required to stay on campus during their lunch.

"School nutrition laws do not allow competitive foods to be sold and consumed where reimbursable meals are sold and consumed," Superintendent Chris Moran said. "And so that's really the reason that we cannot have the food trucks on campus
