I Fought the Law viewers were emotional as Ann Ming made a cameo in the series about her fight for justice for her daughter.

The ITV series follows Ann Ming, whose 22-year-old daughter Julie Hogg was murdered in 1989. The final episode showed Ann, played by Sheridan Smith, bringing her daughter's killer to justice after overturning the double jeopardy law.

The moving episode left many in tears, particularly as the real life Ann made a cameo alongside Sheridan.

In the concluding scenes, viewers saw Ann and her husband Charlie going line-dancing, with Ann experiencing a vision of her daughter Julie across the dancefloor after putting her killer behind bars.
