MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man is behind bars after leading authorities on a chase early Saturday morning and hitting a cruiser.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is left with one less cruiser after Brian Talley, 39, struck the car in the early morning hours of Sept. 6. THP said they saw a Toyota Corolla traveling north on Baltic Street near Summer Avenue just before 3 a.m. with the license plate cover covering the county sticker on the license plate. Troopers tried to stop Talley using lights and sirens but Talley fled from troopers in the neighborhood.
