A luxury Loch Lomond getaway popular with celebrity guests has gone up for sale for offers in excess of a whopping £8 million.

The three-acre Ardlui Retreat estate occupies a prime location on the north side of Loch Lomond, with 180 metres of uninterrupted loch views. It includes a re-developed, five-bedroom main house - with an infinity pool with decking, garden pod, and BBQ hut - and eight high-spec, three-bed luxury lodges.

Knight Frank and Park Lord have been appointed as joint agents for the sale.

Previously a private hunting lodge built for the Colquhoun family in the mid-19th century, the estate was turned into a hotel and leisure park. It was then acquired in 2016 and was refurbished as a high-end luxury retreat.
