Calls for Glasgow city council to reaffirm its commitment to protecting LGBT young people in schools have been issued ten years after the launch of the “Time for Inclusive Education" campaign.

The Time for Inclusive Education (TIE) campaign celebrated its 10th anniversary in June this year after starting off as a grassroots campaign, with the aim of addressing homophobic, biphobic, and transphobic bullying with an educational approach in Scotland’s schools.

Their campaign led to Scotland becoming the first country in the world to agree to integrate LGBT themes – including diverse families, anti-bullying, history, and rights – across the school curriculum.
