Twenty-five years ago, 15-time major winner, Tiger Woods , launched the TGR Foundation with a vision far bigger than golf. It aimed to create spaces where unprivileged youth could learn, grow, and chase their dreams.
Since then, the foundation has impacted millions of students across the country, and on Monday, Woods expanded that legacy with the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Smilow Woodland TGR Learning Lab at Cobbs Creek Golf and Education Campus.
"It's an honor to be here to celebrate this moment with my Foundation and the kids we're serving in West Philadelphia," Woods expressed during the ceremony, as quoted by the PGA Tour . "I'm proud of my team and grateful to Cobbs Creek Foundation and everyone who has worked with us to make an impact in this community."
