INDIANAPOLIS — Every year, giant floats, balloons and more fill the streets of downtown Indianapolis for the Indy 500 Festival Parade . Now, the celebration will be missing one its biggest supporters — President and CEO Bob Bryant.
Tuesday morning, the 500 Festival announced Bryant's departure after being with the nonprofit since 2013. His retirement takes effect Jan. 9, 2026.
The 500 Festival released a statement saying Bryant has been "instrumental in advancing the organization’s mission to enrich lives, foster a positive impact on the community and celebrate the spirit and legacy of the Indianapolis 500. Under his leadership, the 500 Festival has seen significant growth, increased impact, and fostered a culture of inclusion and innovation."
