Two women were arrested Sunday for allegedly shoplifting from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Bloomfield Township — bringing eight kids with them, police said.
The women are accused of leaving the store with more than $820 in stolen merchandise — shoes, clothing and more — then driving away. Officers pulled over their vehicle and recovered the stolen property, police said, along with multiple items suspected of being stolen from another store in a different community.
The women were arrested and processed at the Bloomfield Township police station, and one of them was released pending prosecutorial review. The other had an arrest warrant out of Texas so she was transported to the Oakland County Jail to await extradition, police said.
