Steve Cooper has rejected multiple job offers from English clubs to take charge of Danish giants Brondby on a three-year deal.

The 45-year-old had been out of a job for ten months following his sacking at Leicester in November 2024.

Cooper was relieved of his duties having overseen just 15 matches, with the Foxes languishing 15th in the Premier League at the time of his dismissal.

He managed to win just three matches in all competitions, with a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea proving to be his last fixture at the King Power Stadium.

His appointment at Brondby comes on the same day as his former employers Nottingham Forest confirmed Ange Postecoglou's arrival .
