TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in connection with a homicide that occurred Aug. 31 at an apartment complex in eastern Travis County, officials announced Tuesday.

Deputies responded around 12:51 a.m. to reports of yelling and fighting in the parking lot of the Crossroad Commons Apartments, located at 8407 E. Parmer Lane near State Highway 130. Several individuals reportedly fled the scene before deputies arrived.

At the scene, deputies found a woman lying on the pavement in need of immediate medical assistance, according to the sheriff’s office. Emergency crews performed CPR before transporting her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 4:22 a.m.

The victim was later identified as Yury Bobadilla, 33.
