FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Drivers on Highway 99 are experiencing significant delays after a fiery crash involving two vehicles and a big rig, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 9:15 a.m. on northbound Highway 99 near Herndon Avenue. Pictures from the scene show a car, a truck, and a big rig with a trailer impacted by fire.
CHP says that after the crash, the vehicles and the big rig caught fire
CHP says they are investigating the cause of the crash and multiple people received major injuries. Caltrans reports that traffic is backed up to around Shaw Avenue.
