SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- One person has been arrested for a murder Monday night in Rapid City.

Around 9:15 p.m. Monday, police were called to the Oxford Square Apartments for an assault report. When they arrived, they found an unconscious man. He was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

RCPD identified the man as Michael Ladeaux, 24, of Rapid City.

After speaking with witnesses in the apartment complex, police found and arrested Joshua Thunderhawk, 24, for second-degree murder. He was in an apartment when the residents called the police for an unwanted subject in their apartment.

Thunderhawk is currently in the Pennington County Jail.
