Ever since PennLive’s forum last month on Harrisburg’s downtown development, our readers have been calling, emailing, and texting comments and ideas on how to jump start its revitalization. Most of all, they want to keep the dialogue going and delve deeper into the issues expert speakers raised in the first community discussion at Harrisburg University.

PennLive has decided to do just that. Beginning noon Monday, Sept. 15, we will begin a series of in-depth discussions with Harrisburg residents, business owners, educators, activists, and stakeholders to closely examine the key issues impacting the city’s development. The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) is sponsoring the community discussion series.
