NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — For the 27th year in a row, the North Dakota Retirement and Investment Office (RIO) earned the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
This came from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year, which ended on June 30, 2024.
"Continued recognition by the Government Finance Officers Association is a testament to the Retirement and Investment Office's commitment to prudent and transparent investment management, and to providing responsible benefit administration for North Dakota educators," explained the Executive Director, Jodi A. Smith.
In order to get this recognition, the government must publish the reports, which need to be clearly written, well-organized, and mee
