WARRICK CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Things are starting to return to normal for schools in Newburgh.

The Warrick County School Corporation says the schools there will go back to their usual operations for playgrounds and outdoor facilities.

School officials say the EPA reported they did not find any fire debris on or near the playgrounds, and also noted those areas do not require special cleaning.

According to WCSC, custodial staff have disinfected playgrounds and outdoor facilities in an effort to be extra cautious.

“Again, thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigated this unique situation,” say school officials.
