NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) - The EPA is providing new details after that chemical fire at a Newburgh PBTT facility over the weekend.

On Tuesday, officials say air monitoring shows no levels of concern and there has been no impact on drinking water.

Right now, the Warrick County School District is taking guidance from the health department.

Newburgh schools were considered back in normal operation on Tuesday.

EPA officials say one residential property and a local church were scheduled for assessment; homeowners are asked to sign access agreements to allow EPA onto their yards.

Officials say Warrick County is still under a local emergency disaster declaration, which will remain in effect until further notice.

With this update, the EPA answered several questions many people were having.
