CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A Bellefonte woman is in custody after she allegedly took nude photos of children in her care at a Centre County daycare facility.

Shannon Marie Ishler, 44, is facing multiple felony charges of photographing a child, sexual abuse of children through dissemination of photos, and unlawful contact with a minor, among others, after police say she took photos of both male and female children's private areas and sent them over WhatsApp in September 2023.

According to the criminal complaint, troopers were called to a daycare facility in Centre County after staff reported receiving threatening messages through Facebook. One message reads, "We are not ready to attack you, but one of your staff are trying us because we don't care we can attack your school and kill all.
