RAYSTOWN LAKE, Pa. (WTAJ) — Hunters will have expanded access at Raystown Lake this fall and winter after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced seasonal road openings for the 2025-2026 hunting season.

According to the release, several access gates will open beginning Oct. 4. High Germany Road, Susquehannock Campground Road, Upper Corners Road and Miller Farm Road will remain open through Jan. 19, 2026. Other roads, including Fink Road, Bowsers Orchard Road, the Susquehannock/Bowsers Orchard Connector and Nancy’s Camp Road, will close earlier in December.

Officials said gates may be closed temporarily due to weather, poor road conditions or special activities. Roads will not be maintained during the off-season, meaning drivers travel at their own risk. The roads will also remain open
