LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A Northern Ireland man has been indicted in connection to a scam targeting the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Louisville.

Ajibola Odutan was indicted for conspiracy to commit wire fraud on Sept. 3.

Court records claim Odutan, along with other known and unknown co-defendants, fraudulently purchased tickets using stolen credit card information. The tickets were then sold to "unsuspecting" buyers through online platforms such as StubHub.

The tickets being purchased were for "Wicked" at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts between September and October 2023.

The indictment says money from the fraudulent tickets was deposited into accounts controlled by Oduntan and other co-conspirators.
