UNION COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Spectrum reports awarding a $10,000 grant to the Union County Library for the benefit of digital literacy programs.
The Union County Library plans to utilize the grant to support digital literacy training at their on-site technology hub.
The grant was presented at a community breakfast discussion on broadband, which brought together local residents, business leaders and elected officials to reflect on expansion, its importance and impact on economic development.
Union County Library System Director Taylor Atkinson said, “Partnerships like this make a real difference for Union County. With Spectrum’s philanthropy and investment in broadband, more of our rural community members will have the access they need to learn, connect, and grow.”
