FORTY FORT, Pa. — Folks in Forty Fort will be preserving history one step at a time this Saturday for the second annual run/walk at the Forty Fort Cemetery.

On Saturday, September 13th, the Forty Fort Cemetery Association will be sharing its history in a unique way. There will be a 10k, 5k, and a walk through Forty Fort, ending at the cemetery.

Money raised from the event will go directly to helping preserve the cemetery's history. Local historians will also be on hand to give tours of the cemetery grounds and the meeting house, followed by an after-party at the Old Fort Brewing Company. There will also be live music and a food truck.

The race steps off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, and you can sign up until the morning of the event.
