Two options for relocating offices within the Nelson County courthouse to free up more space for the Nelson commonwealth attorney’s generated recent discussion among the county board of supervisors.

County Administrator Candice McGarry presented the two options at a recent meeting that includes one scenario of relocating school administration employees out of the upper floor of the courthouse in Lovingston and moving the commonwealth attorney’s office, victim witness advocate and recovery court coordinator to that vacated space. The second option is to relocate the county administration, finance and human resources offices out of the courthouse and move the commonwealth attorney’s office to that space.
