Jackson, NJ – A historic Little League season was celebrated Tuesday night as the Jackson Township Council recognized the Jackson-Holbrook Little League team for capturing the New Jersey state championship and setting a new township record with 15 straight wins.

Council President Jennifer Kuhn praised the players for their unprecedented streak, noting that no team in Jackson’s history had ever strung together so many victories. The squad went undefeated through districts and sectionals, defeating rivals Toms River and Nottingham along the way, before clinching the state title without a loss.
