LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Temperatures will be above average the next couple of days. It is going to be muggy to humid as well. While there may be some isolated showers and thunderstorms the next few days, a better rain chance is in the forecast for this weekend.

Thursday will be warm and muggy. There might be some areas of patchy fog to begin the day. Much of the eastern half of the area looks to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy, while the western half is partly to mostly cloudy. There is a 20% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms. Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible in part of Western Nebraska and the panhandle. Large hail and damaging winds are the main threats. The tornado threat is very low.
