TIOGA COUNTY, NY (WENY) -- New York State Police say they will conducting new searches for evidence in the disappearance of Michele Harris, a Tioga County woman who went missing on September 11, 2001.

Harris vanished 24 years ago; her remains have never been found. State Police say in the coming weeks, they will be conducting additional searches for any evidence related to her case.

“We will not stop seeking justice for Michele Harris and her loved ones,” said Captain Lucas J. Anthony, Troop C Bureau of Criminal Investigation. “Our investigators are reviewing all available leads, and we continue to ask the public to share any information that may assist us.”
