GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Possibly severe storms could be headed towards the western slope today with gusty outflow winds of up to 30 mph. Scattered showers with thunderstorms all day long with precipitation chances at about 50 percent for the Grand Valley set up the second half of the week for some intense weather. Highs for the day sit just over 80 degrees. Tonight, expect possibly severe scattered showers and thunderstorms with mostly cloudy conditions.
