The Fort Payne Police Department has identified the Kentucky man arrested for robbing a PNC Bank on Tuesday.

According to police, 62-year-old Mark Loveless was charged with robbery.

On Wednesday, an arrest warrant was issued for a bank robbery that occurred the previous day at PNC Bank in downtown Fort Payne.

Loveless was apprehended without incident by FBI Task Force officers from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office in Pulaski County, Kentucky.

"I want to thank our officers for their swift response to the robbery and our investigators for their diligence in resolving this case quickly. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the FBI Birmingham for their prompt assistance and hard work as well," said Fort Payne Police Chief David Davis.
