The city of Moberly opened a new park on Wednesday for the first time in nearly 40 years.
The new Kiwanis Park, located at 911 Sinnock Ave., includes a 9,000-square-foot inclusive and fenced playground, a pavilion with Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant aluminum tables and air-conditioned and heated restrooms with changing tables, according to a news release.
"Our park system emphasizes clean and well-maintained facilities down to the smallest detail," Troy Bock, the Moberly Parks and Recreation director, said. "We want visitors to feel welcome, comfortable staying at length and eager to return."
