MISSOURI — Elected officials in the Missouri State House and U.S. Senate are hoping the political temperature can cool down as tensions rise following the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk on Wednesday afternoon.
"We've got to get out of this mindset that somehow, if you dislike [an issue] or the person, [you think] 'well maybe I'll just shoot 'em" Missouri Senator Josh Hawley (R) said.
