SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Springfield man has been found guilty of seven charges, including first-degree murder, following events in April 2023.
According to online court dockets, Xavier Moore, born 2001, has been convicted of first-degree murder, three counts of armed criminal action, first-degree attempted assault, unlawful possession of a firearm and discharging a firearm at or from a motor vehicle.
Previous Ozarks First coverage says Moore was arrested on June 25, 2023, following a two-month search.
Moore was first charged after Lavelle C. Rose was killed by a shooter while in a vehicle with a female at the intersection of Forest Avenue and Calhoun Street in Springfield on April 17, 2023.
