DENVER (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department is at the scene of a crash involving an SUV and a Regional Transportation District bus.

In a post to X at 6:06 p.m., the department said that the crash occurred at East 30th Avenue and East Parklane Drive.

Two occupants from the SUV, a small child and a woman, had been ejected from the vehicle and were transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, reported the police department.

The department also said that at least five people from the RTD bus were also transported after the crash; however, the extent of those injuries is unknown at this time.

There are road closures in place at East 30th Ave between Scranton Street and Ursula Street as the investigation is ongoing.
