Frisco officials are eagerly anticipating the start of construction for a 1,000-acre park that will stretch across the Dallas North Tollway west to Lake Lewisville and FM 423.
Design Workshop, a Colorado-based landscape architecture firm, expects to finalize design and construction plans for Grand Park in the first quarter of 2026, Conners Ladner, principal of the firm, said in an email.
The park will be organized in five sections: Civic Park, Adventure Play, Sports Park, Botanic Gardens and a general section, which features multi-use nature trails. Phase one, on the north side near Cotton Gin Road, will feature Civic Park with a 5-acre pond, amphitheater and sculptu
